DECA Scholarship

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in fields like marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the world.

Since 2008, Publix has awarded scholarships to associates involved in DECA. The scholarships are based on associates’ Publix experiences, scholastic records, DECA activities, leadership abilities and community involvement.

Eligibility criteria

You must be a(n)

• active associate in good standing as of the application deadline and when the application is awarded
• high school or college student and
• DECA member.

How to apply

Applications are usually accepted annually around the end of the year. Visit the DECA Student Scholarships website for more information.

Notification of scholarship recipients

Scholarship recipients will be notified around March each year.
