Publix Industrial Operations presented awards to top-performing facilities and associates for their outstanding work and achievements in manufacturing and distribution.

Safety Award — Lakeland bakery plant, Lakeland distribution industrial maintenance and McCalla distribution center
Safety Award recipients are facilities with low incident frequency, low severity, and practices that proactively manage safety and follow safety plans.  

Fleet Safety Award — Jacksonville dispatch
The Fleet Safety Award recognizes a dispatch location for excellence in key safety metrics like preventable crash frequency and severity, and unsafe driving violations. This award stresses the importance of safety, recognizes professionalism and focuses on the principles behind safe driving.  

Operational Excellence Award — Lakeland fresh kitchen, Boynton distribution industrial maintenance and Orlando distribution center
Operational Excellence Award recipients are facilities with the best overall performance in safety, product quality, facility culture, continuous improvement, financial results and significant accomplishments. 

Servant Leadership Award — Product Development Team Leader Deli and Fresh Kitchen Christine Mitchell, Manager of Procurement Strategy and Planning Mark Miley, Manager of Industrial Operations IT Delivery Otto Gonzalez and Manager of Return Center Operations Jessie Ballard
