Updated COVID-19 vaccines available at Publix Pharmacy

Following the Food and Drug Administration’s recent decision to simplify COVID-19 vaccine guidance, Publix Pharmacy will continue to provide Moderna and Pfizer updated vaccines for eligible individuals. Eligibility details are available at cdc.gov/coronavirus. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this updated formula helps protect against more transmissible variants.
Availability
You may use the online reservation system at publix.com/covidvaccine to see if a nearby Publix Pharmacy offers your preferred COVID-19 vaccine and make an appointment. You can also walk into any Publix Pharmacy to ask.

Appointments are encouraged for the most efficient vaccination experience and to ensure your preferred vaccine is available.
Costs and insurance
If you are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, it is provided at no cost to you, while supplies last. Be prepared to provide your health insurance card or red, white and blue Medicare Part B card. If you don’t have insurance, you will need to provide your driver’s license or Social Security number.
