Associate-submitted time-off requests

As Publix continues to make enhancements to streamline the time-off request process, we’re also focusing on having associates submit their own time-off requests through PASSport. 

Process change

Beginning today, managers and time administrators will no longer submit time-off requests on your behalf. They will continue to be available to make sure you understand how to submit them yourself. 

Publix understands there may be times when your manager or time administrator must submit an absence on your behalf, but those should be limited as you have the ability to submit time-off requests through PASSport on your computers, tablets or smartphones.
