Publix named to America’s Best Retailers list by Newsweek

We have been recognized on Newsweek’s 2022 America’s Best Retailers list, ranked No. 2 in the supermarkets category.

“We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a pleasurable shopping experience — from knowledgeable, friendly associates and quality products to a convenient and clean shopping environment,” said Director of Communications Maria Brous. “Being named a ‘best retailer’ is a testament to our philosophy of treating customers like royalty.” 

Newsweek surveyed more than 10,000 U.S. customers who have shopped in-person inside retail stores in the past 3 years. The final assessment and rankings were based on how likely these customers would be to recommend the companies to friends and family, and their evaluation of the companies in the areas of products, customer service, atmosphere, accessibility and store layout.
