2021 Publix PROFIT Plan Lifetime Income Disclosures now available

The 2021 Publix PROFIT Plan Lifetime Income Disclosures are now available. You received this new disclosure if you received a 2021 Publix Retirement Benefits Summary. Just visit the Retirement tab under My Documents to view your summary and disclosure.

Why you’re receiving the disclosure

The Publix PROFIT Plan Lifetime Income Disclosure is required by the Department of Labor. It shows estimates of how much you would collect each month at retirement as a single life annuity and a qualified joint and survivor annuity based on your PROFIT Plan account balance as of Dec. 31, 2021, and certain required assumptions. 

The disclosure is only an illustration to help you plan for retirement; it’s not a guarantee of benefits. Additionally, the PROFIT Plan does not offer monthly payments, annuities or partial distributions at retirement. The disclosure also assumes you’re vested in your account balance. A complete list of the required assumptions is included in the disclosure.
