Face coverings optional for all associates

Starting immediately, face coverings are optional for associates, regardless of vaccination status, unless required for their job duties or by a state or local order or ordinance. Associates are still welcome to wear a face covering if they choose.

Pharmacy associates, regardless of vaccination status, are no longer required to wear face coverings while administering vaccines.

Suppliers, brokers or anyone working on their behalf are also no longer required to wear face coverings inside a Publix location, unless required by a state or local order or ordinance.

What doesn’t change

Associates must continue to

• follow state and local ordinances and
• maintain social distancing.
