Publix lowers flags to commemorate Peace Officers Memorial Day

First established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy, Peace Officers Memorial Day honors local, state and federal officers who have lost their lives or become disabled in the line of duty. 

In honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day, President Biden has ordered all U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff today. In honor of all those who have given selflessly, including some who paid the ultimate price, Publix will fly all flags at half-staff. 

At Publix, we are grateful for our law enforcement officers across the country and appreciate all they do to protect our communities.
