Emergency pandemic pay will be discontinued July 3

June 28, 2021

In March 2020, we began offering emergency pandemic pay to cover your absences connected with the coronavirus. As the availability of COVID-19 vaccine doses has increased and the number of positive cases has continued to decrease in communities throughout our operating area, we have decided to discontinue our emergency pandemic pay, starting July 3.

COVID-19 vaccination

We encourage, but do not require, you to get vaccinated. If you’re interested and at least 18 years old, you can get vaccinated at a Publix Pharmacy. Walk-ins are welcome or you can schedule an appointment online at publix.com/covidvaccine. For ages 14 – 17, you’re eligible to receive a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, which is not available at Publix. You can check your state’s department of health website for more information about COVID-19 vaccinations.
