Publix Vice President & Controller retires

After nearly 29 years of dedicated service, Vice President & Controller Sandy Estep announced her decision to retire, effective Feb. 28, 2021. 

Sandy began her Publix career in 1992 as a supervisor in store bank audit. She worked in various positions before being promoted to director of corporate accounting in 1997. Sandy was promoted to her current role in 2002. She received the 2000 George W. Jenkins Award. 

“Sandy has been committed to perpetuating our culture of service and improving our operations throughout her Publix career,” said Executive Vice President & CFO David Phillips. “Her dedication to mentoring and developing associates to take on greater responsibilities has left a long-lasting, positive impact on Publix. I thank her for her many contributions.”

Sandy is looking forward to spending more time with her family.
