Florida Publix pharmacies to administer COVID-19 vaccinations to individuals ages 18 and older

April 01, 2021

Starting Monday, April 5, Florida residents ages 16 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. We encourage, but do not require, associates to get vaccinated.

Publix Pharmacy administers the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, which are only authorized for individuals 18 years of age and older. Florida associates ages 16 and 17 are encouraged to find sites administering the Pfizer vaccine, which is approved for ages 16 and older.

Your Publix gift card

Associates who choose to be vaccinated can receive a $125 Publix gift card after completing the full COVID-19 vaccination. Visit the COVID-19 Vaccine page on PASSport for more details.

Appointments

Vaccinations are provided to individuals ages 18 and older by appointment only, while supplies last, through the online reservation system at publix.com/covidvaccine. Appointments cannot be made by calling Publix or the Publix Pharmacy.

The system generally opens at 7 a.m. Eastern time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for Florida appointments as follows, as long as we continue to receive vaccine doses and barring unforeseen circumstances.
