Two district managers promoted to newly added regions

Congratulations to 2 district managers on their upcoming promotions to regional director from the

• Atlanta Division, Felix Allen, and
• Lakeland Division, David Tapia.

Effective Jan. 1, 2021, Felix will fill the newly created regional director position to oversee the Charlotte Division’s west region that includes Tennessee stores. And David will assume the newly created regional director position to oversee the Miami Division’s north region that includes stores in Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Palm Beach counties.

About Felix

Felix began his Publix career in 1985 as a front service clerk in Port Charlotte, Florida. After working in a variety of positions, he was promoted to store manager in 2000 and to his current role in 2010. Felix was the recipient of the 2017 President’s Award.

Felix will remain in Tennessee with his wife, Lisa, and their 3 daughters.

About David

David began his Publix career in 1990 as a front service clerk in Tampa, Florida. He held several positions before he was promoted to store manager in 2004 and to his current role in 2013. David was the recipient of the 2012 George W. Jenkins Award.

David will relocate from Tampa to his new region with his wife, Felicia, and their 2 sons.
