New regional director named

With Norman Badger’s promotion to Vice President of Product Business Development for Bakery and Meat, District Manager Joey Riddle will be promoted to Charlotte Division Regional Director, effective Feb. 1, 2020.

Joey began his Publix career in 1995 as a front service clerk in St. Augustine, Florida. After working in a variety of positions, he was promoted to store manager in 2008 and to district manager in 2014.

“Joey is a servant leader who is committed to perpetuating our Publix culture and preparing associates for tomorrow,” said President Kevin Murphy. “I’m looking forward to the contributions he will continue to make in his new role.”

Joey and his wife, Michelle, will relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina.
