After 47 years of dedicated service, Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities Jeff Chamberlain has announced his decision to retire at the end of the year.

“Jeff has made significant contributions to Publix, particularly in our expansion into newer market areas,” said CEO Todd Jones. “Throughout his career, he has trained, mentored and developed his team and those around him. We wish him the very best as he begins the next chapter of his life.”

Jeff began his Publix career in 1972 as a front service clerk in Satellite Beach, Florida. After working in different capacities at several stores in Brevard County, he was promoted to store manager in 1983. In 1991, Jeff transferred into the real estate department as manager for north Florida and south Georgia. In 1999, he was promoted to director of real estate market strategy, and in 2011, he was promoted to vice president of real estate. In 2017, he was promoted to his current position.

Jeff will remain in Lakeland. He and his wife, Jill, are looking forward to enjoying grandparenthood and volunteering in their community.
