Publix honors National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Dec. 07, 2019

Today, we recognize and remember the 2,403 lives lost during the attack at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Dec. 7, 1941, when Japan launched a surprise attack on a U.S. naval station, thrusting our country into World War II. We salute the veterans who served for the four years the war lasted.

In honor of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, President Trump has ordered all flags be flown at half-staff today. Publix will lower flags at all offices and stores.

Publix is proud of and thankful for all military personnel who served in World War II and for all military personnel and their families who continue to serve and make sacrifices for our country every day.
